At last, the new Range Rover Sport is at your local dealership awaiting potential buyers. The full line-up comprises 10 derivatives including Dynamic S, SE and HSE, Autobiography and First Edition specifications.
Four engine choices including an extended range electric hybrid, six cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel options, and the all new V8 Twin Turbo with 390 kW.
Customers can expect deliveries to begin in October 2022.
The new P510e electric hybrid is engineered to meet the demands of drivers looking for a high-performance drive and impressive efficiency. The seamlessly blended 3.0-litre six cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a powerful 105kW electric motor and 38.2kW battery produces output of 375kW and achieves 100km of zero emissions EV range. Capable of 0-100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds with electric driving range of 113 km. On longer journeys the combined powertrains deliver a range of 740km.
The flagship V8 Twin Turbo produces 390kW and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds with dynamic Launch control. This model will have limited availability in South Africa with only 60 units allocated.
Other powertrains include the powerful P400 mild-hybrid straight six Ingenium turbopetrol with 294kW and 550Nm of torque, and a six cylinder D350 turbodiesel engine with 258kW and 700Nm.
The Dynamic specification delivers Premium LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless device charging, grained leather seats and 3D Surround Camera system as standard. The Dynamic SE adds pixel LED headlights, 21-inch alloys and perforated Windsor leather seats, while the Dynamic HSE steps up to Digital LED headlights, 22-inch wheels and perforated semi-aniline leather upholstery.
The autobiography variant offers 22-inch Diamond Turned alloy wheels with satin dark finish, black contrasting roof with sliding panoramic sunroof, a Bespoke full leather upgrade and premium cabin lighting.
Lastly the First Edition (Only available for the first 12 months after launch) features 23-inch wheels, First Edition etched Satin Forged Carbon finishers, full leather, premium cabin lighting with illuminated aluminium treadplates.
