Land Rover has added a new special edition to its Discovery range the Metropolitan Edition. In summary this variant has a suite of technologies and enhanced comfort convenience features in this seven-seater family SUV.
From the outside the R-Dynamic HSE has Bright Atlas detailing for the grille along with Discovery lettering. This is complimented by Hakuba Silver bumper inserts, 22-inch Diamond Turned alloy wheels with gloss Grey detailing, black brake callipers, private glass, and a Sliding Panoramic Roof. A gloss Black Contrast Roof is standard with this limited edition.
Inside features include a Head-up Display and heated steering wheel, wireless phone charger, a front cooler compartment and four-zone climate control. The cabin is trimmed with Titanium Mesh detailing.
The Discovery remains the most capable and versatile full-sized SUV, with best-in-class 3,500kg towing capacity and Advanced Tow Assist technology which removes the stress from difficult reversing manoeuvres. For a healthier interior environment, the Discovery is also available with Land Rover’s advanced Cabin Air Purification with PM2.5 air filtration 1, monitoring air quality inside filtering out harmful particulates.
The Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition will be introduced to South Africa in the first half of 2022 with pricing available closer to launch date.
