Maria Teresa De Filippis was the first woman to qualify for a formula 1 Grand Prix having done so aboard a Maserati 250F. To pay tribute to both Maria Teresa and the racing world Maserati have released a limited series FTributo Special Edition in the Ghibli and Levante models offering two very exclusive colours, Arancio Devil and Grigio Lamiera.

The Arancio Devil is a special saturated orange, a combination of vibrant energy and audacity to recall Maria Teresa’s nickname “The She Devil.” Conversely the grey Grigio Lamiera is inspired by the track, Maserati’s real “Home” where the Trident has reaped many victories and produced its greatest performance.

The sporty limited edition models will be fitted with 21-inch Anteo wheels on the orange models and  21-inch Titano wheels on the grey. The Arancio Devil wheel rim detail will be cobalt blue and a specific badge will be placed on the fender and the Trident logo on the C-Pillar. The Grigio Lamiera will have Glossy black wheel rims while the specific badge and trident logo will be in a contrasting orange.

This theme is carried through to the interior with cobalt blue and orange stitching paired with black or orange full grain leather.

Elegance, extreme performance and sportiness renew the winning combination between Maserati and Maria Teresa De Filippis, best remembered for 1955 Targa Floria taking ninth place overall (Fourth in the 2-litre class) which was the turning point that would lead to her one challenge after another to break down conventions and become the first woman in Formula 1 in 1958 again in a Maserati.
