What’s it like to drive?
It is such a Smooth ride. Whether you’re navigating the city or driving on national roads – it feels solid and quiet. This comes down to the fact that the new Dzire has been aerodynamically optimised, which means cabin noise is reduced at high speeds and the new HEARTECT platform is more rigid and lighter than the previous generation version.
Petrol consumption in the Suzuki Dzire is also worth mentioning – we’re just passed the first quarter in 2019 and have already experienced several fuel hikes. Fuel consumption remained at an average of 5,2km/l, whether I drove it in the city or the route I took to Paarl, which is amazing and budget-friendly.
More enjoyment from the all-new Suzuki Dzire…
The new K12M 1.2l engine delivers 113nm of torque – so hills and inclines are not even an issue – the 62Kws is a lot more powerful feeling than what it appears on paper.
It’s really responsive too thanks to the 16v motor– when you need it to go, it does.
There is also Plenty of boot space 378L to be Exact– four adults fit comfortably and if your worried about leg room – there’s plenty. All the boxes are ticked: speedy, spacious and not a petrol abuser.

It’s the ideal car for anyone who loves a hatchback because it really is so compact and easy to zoot about in! It is more practical than a hatchback because of how spacious it is inside with plenty of load capacity. In addition to that, it packs some serious power for its size. If it’s sparked your interest – give it a test-drive and see for yourself. I’m sure you’ll be as impressed as we are
