A new special edition Volkswagen Polo Vivo hatch has been added to South Africa’s best-selling passenger car range. Since March 2010 the Polo Vivo has sold 261 285 vehicles in SA making this model line-up the top seller in the country over the past ten years. In this competitive segment the Vivo is the only one which is manufactured in South Africa, all its competitors are imported and tend to introduce new models on a regular basis to challenge the Vivo’s dominance in the market.

German built quality, affordability, safety, space and comfort are all attributes which keep this Polo in the number one selling position. Measured over a 3-year cycle the cost of ownership of the Polo Vivo is one of the most affordable in SA. Now a new special edition has been added to the range, the “Vivo Mswenko”. Based on the 1.4 (63kW) Comfortline manual the new edition has unique styling features and serves to appeal to the young at heart customer. “Swag” is an expression of attitude and confidence, and “Mswenko” is the isiZulu expression for the slang word “swag”. Anthracite 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome tip exhaust, a black painted roof, privacy glass and mirror covers in two colours are the exterior features of the new Mswenko. Ocean blue seats, Anthracite headliner, silver dashboard inserts, App connect, six speakers and leather steering wheel, gearshift lever and gear knob are the interior features.

This special sedition will be available in Pure White, Reflex Silver, Limestone Grey and Reef Blue exterior colours.
