From zero to 238.6 MPH in a half mile. That’s scary fast
The Lamborghini Huracán? is already quite fast. With all-wheel drive and more than 600 horsepower coming from a massive V10, it’s able to hit 60 miles per hour in well under 3 seconds. If the driver has room to keep his foot down long enough, the Huracán? has a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour.
This Huracán? just hit 238.6 miles per hour. In a half mile.
Obviously it’s not stock. With a twin-turbo setup from Underground Racing, it makes a claimed 2,000 horsepower. That’s more than three times more power than the ?Huracán? makes in stock form. To handle all that power, the dual-clutch transmission was switched out in favor of a sequential gearbox.
Assuming it can be verified, that would smash the current world record, set by a twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo, by nearly four MPH. This is the kind of progress we can get behind..
