The first Land Rover Defender was introduced to the world in 1948 at the Amsterdam Motor Show. Its now time to honor the 75-year anniversary of the Defender by offering its fans and followers a Limited-Edition exclusive design themed Defender.
To identify this limited edition, model the exterior finish will be Grasmere Green sporting 20-inch alloy wheels also in Grasmere Green with matching center caps. Ceres Silver bumpers and Privacy Glass completes the 75th Limited Editions exterior styling.
Moving inside, the Cross Car Beam will be finished in the Grasmere Green powder coat. Seats will be Resist Ebony with hockey stick on the central console featuring robustec material.
The limited edition is based on the HSE with the normal comprehensive standard equipment. Innovative technology includes the 3D Surround Camera, Configurable Terrain Response, Medidian Sound System, LED front lighting, 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system and Wireless Device Charger.
All 75th Limited Edition models also feature a Folding Fabric Roof or the option of a sliding Panoramic Roof. 14-way driver and passenger heated electric memory seats, heated steering wheel, and three zone climate control. An Electronically Deployed Towbar and all-season tyres can be added as options.
The new style Defender has become immensely popular with Land Rover buyer and has won more that 50 Global awards including Top Gears 2020 Car of the Year, Motor Trends 2021 SUV of the Year and Autocars Best SUV 2020 as well as 5 Star Euro NCAP Safety Rating.
Only 10 Defender 90 and 30 Defender 110 75th Limited Edition units will be destined for South Africa with Pricing set at R1 741 000 and R1 780 000, respectively. All will be available exclusively with D300 Ingenium diesel powertrains only.
