Having made a name in South Africa with powerhouse vehicles like the Navara, Nissan is aiming to dominate the affordable SUV range with the new Magnite line-up offering fuel efficiency technologies, advanced drive assist display, wireless charging, and state-of-the-art view monitors. The Magnite Kuro is a game changer for South African consumers in this very competitive sector.
Influencing all of Nissans new designs, Nissan Intelligent Mobility focuses on three core factors. Firstly, Intelligent Driving, allowing drivers to feel more confident through driver assistance technologies. Secondly, Intelligent Power, so drivers can feel excitement about the boost to their vehicle’s performance. Lastly, Intelligent Integration, where your vehicle can connect seamlessly to other technologies including your smartphone, to improve safety and traffic flow awareness.
Derived from the Japanese word for “Black” the name Kuro not only personifies the cars bold colour scheme, but also reflects its premium quality, top-notch aesthetic, and Nissan’s history of reliability. While it sports an all-black roof and dark interiors, the SA edition will have four colour options for the exterior paintwork, black, white, silver and red.
The Magnite range has always offered good levels of safety features and in recent years has been awarded with the 4-Star Safety Rating for Adult Occupant Safety from Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP) whose aim is to promote and improve vehicles safety standards worldwide.
These safety features include;
- Electronic Stability Programme (ESP)
- Traction Control System (TCS)
- Hill Start Assist (HAS)
- Tyre Pressure Monitor (TPM)
The new Nissan Kuro is available in South Africa country wide.
